Love bamboozle, they have something for everyone and everything is delicious. I usually order online and pick it up , I have never had any problems with my meal. The lemongrass tofu summer wrap is my favorite.

I have previously been to the Tampa Heights location and had a great experience so was excited to try it. This location is more casual but still served delicious food. I liked the noodle salad but wished it had a thicker sauce I ended up us in the peanut sauce from the roll for the salad which was great. The roll was very fresh and filling. Next time I come I will probably order the pho though.

My husband & I used to frequent both Bamboozled locations a lot when we lived in town. We try to go back whenever we can since we frequently visit family and friends in the Tampa Bay/St Pete areas. The Channelside location is my old haunt, but tonight it looked like they were out of Banh Mi (looking online) so we decided to go to the DT location. Everything pretty much seemed unchanged at the DT location. I remembered loving their fresh rolls here but not loving the pho or Banh Mi (for some reason the Channelside location was always better for these). It has been a few years since we went to the DT location though so we decided to give these a try again here. Sadly, as I mentioned before, not much has changed here. The pho (we had the beef pho) was fine but not great. The broth was lacking the depth of a really good, flavorful pho. I'm glad we only got the small bowl to share. The Banh Mi was more disappointing however. The bread was ok but not the wonderful bread you can get at some great Banh Mi establishments. The veggies were fresh and it's nice that you get a choice of garlic or spicy Mayo. We ordered the BBQ pork version & I wish we tried a different protein--maybe that would have made the Banh Mi a little better. On a very positive note, the Fresh Rolls are still amazing here! Every roll we had was fresh, full of crunchy veggies & delicious. Loved the crunch of the fried shallots in the Crispy Duck roll. The Avocado Roll deliciously married creamy avocado with the tart sweetness of mango. So good! Also worth noting is their Vietnamese iced coffee. Always done well here. Their iced green tea is a nice, non-sweet choice too. So I wasn't pleasantly surprised by the Pho or Banh Mi tonight but they are still worth a try. I am definitely coming back for the Fresh Rolls & Iced Coffee though!

Looking for a place to pop into for lunch out of the heat, we stopped in here, savored their well-working air conditioning, then walked up to the front register to order. It's a bit confusing where you are actually supposed to place your order, because they have a very long counter, with two registers - but apparently the register in the back is for take out and delivery services. They were doing a booming to-go business when we were there, and one of their roll platters looked amazing. I ordered the Bun-Vietnamese Noodle Salad, to which I added lemongrass chicken. The salad consisted of vermicelli noodles, green leaf lettuce, cucumber, pickled daikon & carrots, mint, bean sprouts, crushed roasted peanuts, and roasted shallots, and it was wonderful. Everything was fresh, and the flavors combined were delicious. The chicken was a bit too dry, and not very lemongrassy, which would be the only negative. It was ready pretty quickly, and brought out to my table with my diet soda. I did feel that $17 was a bit expensive for salad and soda, but it was so good, I would definitely order it again.

It was not too busy when I came in so everything was very fast. I ordered one roll and it was done by the time it was my turn to pay. I wanted to try the fried rice but they only have it for dinner so I'll definitely be back. The crispy duck roll was delicious. The ingredients balanced each other well. Duck can feel heavy sometimes, but with the other filling in the roll made it feel like a light yet fulfilling meal. The citrus sauce is good, but it is mellow as expected from a citrus sauce. I found myself desiring something with more kick so I wish I had asked for a sauce with spice/heat to bring it up a notch.

What really stood out about this place for me, is how they are known for their vegan options. The restaurant itself doesn't look like much when you enter but the idea of having a vegan Vietnamese restaurant is interesting and worth exploring. I will say the food was beyond my expectations. All the green and vegetables tasted fresh and the colors were so vibrant, since the rolls are see through. Also the edamame noodles tasted just like normal noodles, which is always impressing to see fruits or vegetables imitate other foods we're more used to eating. However, the pork, duck and mushrooms did not taste fresh. The food came out relatively quick which makes me think that it's not made to order. The mushrooms were chewy, probably because they're over cooked. The pork and duck was bone dry, if you didn't add sauce then swallowing will be difficult Overall it was an interesting experience for me, but if you visit I would recommend to stick with the full vegan options.

I love this place and so does the kid! Whenever I'm in town for the kids museum or Curtis hixon or riding around the river on the pirate taxi, I make sure to stop into Bamboozle. Their fresh rolls are for anyone. Small enough to have one or have more if you're hungry and want to share. Portion sizes are perfect. You can get vegan options with veggies or any protein you'd like. The sauces have variety for whatever flavor you're in the mood for. I love the garlic mushroom the best! My little loves the small pho soup with vegan broth, which is so hard to find anywhere (she can't do chicken or beef.) Prices are reasonable and the food is always consistent - be sure to support this awesome Tampa gem.
